I am very happy with all the rain we have received this week because California needs it. 

We have been in a severe drought for quite sometime now. 

People think that one little storm like the one we are in the midst of right now will change the status of California's drought drastically but it won't. 

Yes it does help but we still have so much more that we need, one storm really does not make that much of a dent. 

I also do not understand people who do not believe that climate change is a real issue or that it is something that should be taken seriously. 

If you watch a video of Earth through the years to now, it is obvious. 

We are destroying this planet. 

I can not help but wonder what will happen in the future if we fail to address climate change. 

I feel like we are making the only planet that we know can sustain human life into a wasteland. 

We are not being respectful to the only home we know.
