Every four years something monumental happens in our country. I am not referring to leap year, I am talking about voting for a president of the United States. As first year students in college we are now able to vote for the next person to run this country! Recently in my philosophy class, my professor asked who everyone was thinking about voting for, and I was shocked to find out that over half of the class said they would not be voting. Us college students are some of the most important people in this nation currently. We have the opportunity to become the next generation of doctors, lawyers, teachers, or even engineers. That is another reason why it is so important that we vote this coming November.
